TODAY 

            Welcome return to Charlotte Alexander who comes back to these shores    

            from New Zealand transmogrified into Mrs Lundquist.



            Congratulations! 



            I shall be leaving about 10.00 to collect Ed with all he owns from Oxford.



            This means that Claim Forms should be completed and signed and then    

            left in registers which should be returned to Stephen before you leave this    

            morning. 



TRUSTEES / EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE



            The committee met on Thursday of this week. The main subject at the    

            meeting concerned the future of SRMS after my retirement at the end of    

            the summer term 2008.



            Different options were presented and discussed. These will be presented

            in outline form to parents at the AGM to be held next Saturday 

            11.00 > 12.00. in the Hall.

            It may be that staff will also have some thoughts and ideas about the future 

            and these would be warmly welcomed to add the discussion.

            It is always easier if the comm. have something in writing for them to    

            consider so any thoughts to me or Stephen please. 



NEXT WEEK



            Students will need to be reminded that next week is the final session of    

            this term and we return on Saturday January  12 2008.



            This is important because we still regularly have parents arriving to closed   

            doors. They may have lost the brochure – parents newsletter – not time to    

            look at the White Board – didn't bring the note home etc etc so every little    

            helps. 



CONCERT 

            The re-arrangement of the AGM has meant that the normal concert    

            morning for this term has had to be postponed. I have also had requests    

            from quite a few staff for there to be some form of Showcase Event.



            Perhaps the answer is to have either an evening or afternoon towards the    

            end of next term for such an event open to any performers on condition    

            that the concert does not exceed 24 hours.
